Port O'Call Lodge has a complimentary courtesy bus which picks up guests from Cairns City/accommodation houses every day except Saturdays and public holidays. Conditions apply - guests must stay for mimimum of 2 nights and this free transfer is not available on any discounted packages. Bookings are essential with details of pick-up point in Cairns. Guests can also return to Cairns accommodation houses on the same days leaving Port O'Call Lodge at 8:45am.
From Cairns Airport you have the following choices of transport:
- Use our complimentary courtesy bus for flights arriving in Cairns Sunday to Friday. Pick-up is at 10:30am. Guests must be outside the airport by 10:30am, as security regulations do not allow the bus to wait. Our bus does not run on Saturdays or public holidays.
- Exemplar Coaches has a "meet and greet" service for all flights which can be booked through us for $36.00 one-way, simply provide us with your flight details.
- Major car rental companies have desks at the airport, several smaller companies offer cheaper alternatives from off-airport sites within approximately 2-3km. Car rental costs start at $25 a day (plus insurance), and are often the cheapest and most flexible transport option.
Port O'Call Lodge is ten minutes from everywhere...Four Mile Beach, the Marina Mirage, supermarkets, the village centre, shops and restaurants.
